Overview
The aim of this consultation is to seek stakeholder’s views on the introduction of an airspace solution that will mitigate any effect caused by the wind turbines on the ability of Air Traffic Units to provide a safe air traffic control service to aircraft.
This Airspace Change Proposal (ACP) is sponsored by us, Clash Gour Holdings Limited (CGH), referred to as the Change Sponsor. We intend to develop an onshore wind farm in the Moray Council area which will be capable of providing power to approximately 200,000 houses. This ACP does not discuss or consult upon the principle of the development itself, this has been established through an application to Scottish Ministers under the Electricity Act 1989 and was consented by Scottish Ministers on 21st October 2022.
The CAA Consultation Hub enables all stakeholders the opportunity to provide feedback on the options proposed in the consultation document. The consultation document, as well as all supporting documentation can be found below. All other documentation relating to this ACP to date can be found on the CAA Airspace Change Portal, a link to which can be found at the bottom of this page.
Why your views matter
This consultation allows the Change Sponsor, Clash Gour Holdings Ltd (CGH), to gather and consider views and information from relevant stakeholders about the potential impacts of this ACP. Stakeholders have a crucial role to play in providing relevant and timely feedback to the Change Sponsor with their views and opinions on the impact of this ACP. You have the opportunity to provide relevant feedback, which may conflict with that of other stakeholders.
The consultation begins on 29th March 2023 and ends on 31st May 2023.
What happens next
After the consultation period has ended, the feedback of everyone who responds to the consultation will be collated and analysed by the Change Sponsor and help to shape the final proposal that will be submitted to the CAA.
